Sheena Ridley

Zimbabwe born painter and sculptress Sheena Ridley has her studio gallery the Langkloof Gallery and Sculpture Garden on the Kykoe Road, thirty kilometres from Uniondale.

Sheena uses the palette knife in her oils and her pastels are vibrant with movement. She portrays local landscapes and people in her work, focussing on stance and colours to provoke emotion.

The genuine exuberance of her large ferro-cement sculptures is displayed in a beautiful garden.

Sheena gives two and five-day sculpture courses and provides accommodation with meals being a shared endeavour, with the best of ingredients supplied by the garden.
